Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy for Men

As a provider specializing in hormone health for men, I offer Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) to help address symptoms of low testosterone and hormonal imbalances that can occur with aging or certain medical conditions.

BHRT uses testosterone that is chemically identical to the hormone naturally produced in the male body. Unlike some synthetic options, bio-identical hormones are designed to replicate the body’s own hormones, which can enhance tolerability and effectiveness for many patients.

Men may be candidates for BHRT if they’re experiencing symptoms such as:

  • Fatigue or low energy

  • Decreased libido or sexual dysfunction

  • Mood changes, irritability, or depression

  • Loss of muscle mass or strength

  • Increased body fat, especially around the abdomen

  • Difficulty concentrating or memory issues

  • Poor sleep quality

In my practice, I emphasize personalized care. Treatment begins with comprehensive lab testing to measure testosterone levels, as well as other relevant hormones like estradiol, DHEA, and thyroid hormones. I also evaluate each patient’s medical history, cardiovascular health, prostate health, and personal goals to ensure BHRT is safe and appropriate.

BHRT for men is commonly administered through:

  • Pellet implants

Regular monitoring is critical to assess hormone levels, ensure symptom improvement, and watch for potential side effects such as changes in blood counts, PSA levels, or cardiovascular markers.

My goal is to help men restore hormonal balance, improve vitality, and maintain overall health and quality of life as they age.
